We are now nestled amongst heritage and National Trust buildings tastefully restored to preserve the cultural history of the woking port of yesteryear. GALLERYpt is the showcase for exhibiting the art of Peter Thompson. The opening of the gallery on 28 July 2010 in St Vincent Street, Port Adelaide, was designed to coincide with the launch of the 2010 SALA festival. For the grand opening Peter selected some of his favourite works depicting scenes of a reviving port district where he lives and works. The opening exhibition Dodge Tide was on display from 28 July until 22 August.
The gallery relocated to 116 Lipson Street, Port Adelaide on 16 Feb 2011 and we are now supporting the work of a number of local and interstate artists.
